Your school is called "Trinity Lutheran". What is a "Lutheran" anyway?
"Lutherans" are Christians who respond to the love of the Triune God...Father, Son, and Holy Spirit...as revealed in the Bible. "Lutherans" teach the Bible with the understandings provided through the reformation of the Christian Church in the 16th century by Martin Luther. The teaching of Lutherans can be summarized in three short phrases: Grace alone, Faith alone, Scripture alone.

I am not Lutheran. May my child attend your school?
Yes! Trinity is for any student whose families are willing to partner in the development of the whole child through the power of the Gospel. We welcome students who represent a variety of ethnic, denominational, and economic backgrounds.

What makes Trinity different from other schools?
Christ is proclaimed all day every day. Our professional teachers are trained to integrate the Christian faith in all learning. Technology rich learning environments are created and used. Spanish is taught in K-8. Competitive athletics are available in 4th-8th grade.

Is Trinity accredited?
Yes! Trinity has been accredited for many years through National Lutheran Schools Accreditation (NLSA). Accredited schools must meet and maintain a prescribed level of excellence and create a plan for goals for the accreditation period of 5 years.

What extracurricular activities are available beyond sports?
Mathcounts, Homework Help, Handbells, Choir,, Forensics, Spelling Bee, Geography Bee and various other events throughout the year.

What are the school hours?
Monday thru Friday 7:45-2:45pm for 5K-8, same days from 7:45-10:30am for 4K.

Does Trinity require an entrance exam?
No. Trinity takes grades, behavior record, and the family interview all into account.

Does Trinity have athletics?
Yes. Athletic teams begin in grade 4, with co-ed soccer and girls volleyball in the fall, girls and boys basketball in the winter, and a non-competitive running club in the spring.

Do students wear a uniform?
No. Our dress code does include appropriate length shirts and shorts/skirts. Shorts may be worn.

Does Trinity provide financial aid?
We offer need-based financial aid to families who qualify through an online application process by TADS. Awards are limited to the amount donated annually to the Education Grant Fund and the amount of aid applied for by families.

Can parents help out at the school?
YES! Parents coach sports, play at recess, read to students, run copies, and more. Trinity's Parent Teacher League has monthly planning meetings for any parent to attend. Those meetings are where the monthly events for families are organized. A volunteer form is handed out at registration to help connect your wish to serve with a school need.

How do I become a Room Parent for my childs class and what do they do?
Room parents organize special event socials for their classroom under the direction of the classroom teacher. Room parents are asked to contact other parents for help during special all school events.

What does the school do for Fundraisers?
Tuition and congregational support allow Trinity to pay the bills. To supplement those dollars and provide more opportunity for students, Trinity uses the following important 3rd source funding resources:
1. Race for Education or Knowledge-A-Thon - alternating years, all school involved.
2. PTL - Parent group runs a spring carnival to support the extras
3. Alumni and Friends Ministry - a group raising dollars for curriculum and technology
4. Legacy Auction - An annual dress-up event for adults
5. Education Grant Fund - a member supported fund to provide need based scholarships

Can I schedule a visit? Can my child attend a class?
Scheduling a tour during the school day is usually the best way to see what Trinity offers and evaluate if it would be a good fit for your family. We can arrange a shadow day to see more or smooth the transition.

How do I enroll?
Please call the school office at 715-848-0166 or email the schoool office schoff@trinitynet.org for forms and a tour. The enrollment fee is $150 and may be paid by cash or check in the school office.
