Holy Communion is for baptized Christians who understand what the Bible teaches about this sacrament. Our friendship registers (passed around during the offering) contain our statement of faith. If you're in agreement with our teaching we welcome you to commune with us. If not, or if you are unsure or have questions, please wait until you've had a chance to speak with one of our pastors.

If I'm hospitalized, will I be visited in the hospital?
Always notify us when you enter the hospital. It's the best way to alert us to your hospitalization. Volunteers and staff do visit the Aspirus and St. Clares Hospitals each week day. With the recent changes in hospital privacy, while you are being admitted it is important to identify that you are a member of Trinity Lutheran Church on Stewart Ave. and that you do want to allow a visit from your church. If you specify that you are a privacy patient, we won't have any way of knowing that you are hospitalized.

Do I need to be a member to be baptized or have my child baptized?
No, you don't. Here's what you need to do:

Step 1: Begin worshiping with us on a regular basis. Parents are the spiritual leaders in the home and the best thing you can do begin introducing them to Jesus as soon as possible.
Step 2: Contact the church office and ask to speak with a Pastor. They will help prepare you for your child's baptism and to schedule a date for the baptism itself.
Step 3: Following the baptism, you will be contacted by our post-baptism ministry called, "Love Jesus-Love Me". To give you follow up resources to continue nurturing your child's relationship with Jesus.

Questions? Contact the Church office for more information: 715-842-0769.
