Staff

The ECLC staff welcomes you to our center. Whether you are visiting for the first time or have been using our childcare services, it is our prayer that you are surrounded in Jesus’ love. Our staff is nurturing and caring, meeting individual needs in a Christian environment. Mrs. Parks is the Director of the Center. Each classroom has a Lead Teacher with Teacher Assistants. All ECLC staff are recertified every 2 years in Infant CPR/1st Aid, certified in SIDS, SBS, Child Abuse and Neglect. Our mission is to take care of God’s children and teach them about Jesus, their Savior. Children will experience God’s love in our smiles and through the Christian example we set.

Mrs. Parks is the Early Childhood Learning Center’s Director. She believes every child is a precious gift from God. She takes the responsibility to ensure each child is provided a safe and loving environment very seriously. Every child should be able to go home feeling accepted and wrapped in Jesus’ love. She oversees the staff in each of the center’s rooms along with the physical environment.

Although born in Minnesota, she became a true Packer fan after her marriage to Scott. She joined the U.S. Army right after high school graduation. Her marriage brought her to Wausau and Trinity Lutheran Church where they raised two sons now graduated from college and on their own. She enjoys gardening, scrapbooking, photography and hiking National Parks with her husband.

Mrs. Parks started in 1992 as a Teacher Aide for First Grade and the second year worked and directed the after school program that was in its second year of operation. Since then we added year round care and started the Early Childhood Learning Center in 2006.

Mrs. Parks obtained her Associate's Degree in Early Childhood through Northcentral Technical College in 2011. She is a certified SBS Trainer, current in infant CPR/1st Aid training, certified in SIDS, Child Abuse and Neglect, and continues to find educational opportunities to pursue.

Get to Know:
Sara Seehafer, ECLC Little Lambs Lead Teacher

Ms. Sara is the Lead Teacher in the Little Lambs Room caring for and nurturing children from six weeks of age to 24 months. She also schedules the staffing needs of a busy and active room. Ms. Sara feels blessed to be able to work in an environment where she can see God's plan for each child develop in their beginning years. It is just as important to care for each family as for many it is their first experience with childcare.

A strong believer that children learn through play, opportunities for independent play, side-by-side play, and cooperative play are encouraged throughout each day. Simple, easy games and activities are used to help infants and toddlers develop new skills and learn new concepts.

Ms. Sara has many years of experience in childcare from being a nanny, running a certified in home Family Day Care business and coming to work for Trinity in 2007. She continues her education in obtaining an Early Childhood Degree. A Wausau resident from birth, she and her husband are seeing their three children graduate from Trinity Lutheran School, Wisconsin Valley Lutheran High School, and where their paths go from there. Spending time with family and being involved with her children's activities, photography, and scrapbooking are some of her after work favorites.

She looks forward to helping each child grow and develop new skills, play and make new friends, and most importantly learn about the amazing love of their Lord and Savior, Jesus.

Ms. Ginny is the Lead Teacher in the Rainbow Room with inquisitive two-year olds. She has the love of our Savior, Jesus, which she shares in the classroom through song, stories and interaction. She strives to provide quality care for children in a loving and caring way treating them with respect and the love they deserve. Children at this age learn thru play with interaction between teacher and child and between other children. They are learning their self-help and social skills and how to play with others.

Ms. Ginny has been working with children since 1989. She and her husband have raised two sons and have four grandchildren. She has completed many certificates and classes in early childhood and continues to attend conferences and classes to enhance the learning environment in her classroom. She enjoys bike riding, camping, hiking, and mission work. She and her husband go on Mission Trips each year to Guatemala to teach the children about Jesus.

It has always been a dream of hers to work with children because they make you smile and laugh. She looks forward to getting to know you and your child and teach them about the love Jesus has for them.

Julianne Rausch, ECLC Butterfly Room Lead Teacher

Ms. Julianne is the Lead Teacher in the Butterfly Room with the imaginative and creative three-year olds. She has a strong desire to incorporate the life of Jesus into the classroom through stories, songs and weekly Bible time. She believes that the best way for a child to learn is through play and hands on exploration to further develop their growing and impressionable minds. She also concludes the key to a successful classroom is one that nurtures and supports the whole child in every aspect of their lives.

Ms. Julianne had a passion to be a teacher from a young age. The most influential people in her life have been her teachers, including her grandmother, who taught elementary school in the Athens School District and helped implement the gifted and talented program there. She obtained her Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from Northcentral Technical College in December of 2016. She graduated with high honors, and was awarded Outstanding Graduate of her program. She was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society as well. She has multiple certificates relating to Early Childhood Education and is certified in first aid and CPR.

In her spare time, Ms. Julianne enjoys spending time with her significant other, her family and her golden retriever Maya. She also likes to camp, fish, garden and take road trips.

Lori Fisher, ECLC SonShine Room Lead Teacher

Ms. Fisher is the SonShine Room Lead Teacher who enjoys creating a bond with the children and pursuing their eagerness to learn and try new things. She has a passion for assisting the children develop and refine their skills of team building, respect for adults and peers, responsibility, and self-improvement. She believes that communication is of a major importance when building relationships with others. Ms. Fisher thrives on teacher to parent relationships; these are maintained to accomplish the success of each and every child.

Miss Pritzl has worked with children throughout her life. She began babysitting children of various ages when she was fourteen years old. Prior to that, she babysat her younger brother, who is five years younger than her. Miss Pritzl likes to spend most of her time outdoors as long as it is not raining. She enjoys going on walks up Rib Mountain, walking her families' three dogs when visiting home, and swimming laps at the pool, Most of all, she enjoys being able to go to church every Sunday with her family.
Miss Pritzl moved to Wausau to attend the University of Wisconsin-Marathon County. She is majoring in Secondary Education, with a minor in English Literature and will be transferring to the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point to complete her Bachelors Degree. She would like to continue her studies in graduate school.
Miss Pritzl is the Lead Teacher in the ECC room. She loves working with grade school children in Extended Child Care (ECC). In her room, she likes to promote "working together" and "treating others how you would want to be treated". Miss Pritzl strives to have communication not only with the children, but with the parents/guardians of the children as well. Miss Pritzl looks forward to ensuring that the name and knowledge of Jesus is incorporated in her classroom.
